The wave is cool..... But I can hear the powerhead... Is it really that loud or it's just the camera picking up the sound that good.

the camera picks up every little thing!! you can hear the pumps when they're pulsing away like that tho, under normal use their silent.

isnt that alot of stress on the seams of that tank? i love the flow of the pumps but would be scared of the long term effects

The Mp60 is really loud. I have to disconnect it at night because the vibration frequency it gives off can be heard from the living area to the bedroom. I spoke w/ TS and the said this is normal. All they claimed was it performs better than the Mp40 but never made claims to the noise level. They said the noise is do to the open motor area to release heat which also releases sound. Don't get me wrong, I love the flow it creates, but for the price I paid I do wish it was less noisy.

I can't be the only person that thinks these are crazy expensive, am I? With the noise and QC issues I'veseen posts about, as awesome as the Eco tech pumps seem, I've been debating buying a couple for over a year.

They're not that loud, I left two working last night without even noticing them, and I do have a light sleep.

Also, if you leave them with low flow during this period, the noise can be much lower.

CUZ, how did you configure you MP60's to make that wave? sorry for the noob question but first time Ecotech owner here
