One of my favorites... Posted it in the Photography section... but thought yall might like to see it.

It was taken today. Unfortunately, resizing it to RC's specs, it lost some of the detail.

those are real cool, are they on the end of candy cane branch heads?

Yes, thought I'd add a Ricordea "tree" to my collection. :p

Do you have a macro lens or macro setting or is that just a picture with normal settings?

I shot that picture with the XT's standard lens of 18-55mm and the camera was set in "P" mode.

Program mode: This is the first mode in the Creative Zone of the Mode Dial. Program AE works similarly to the Full Automatic exposure mode, but allows more control over the exposure variables. Aperture and shutter speed are automatically selected by the camera, but you can bias the exposure to larger or smaller apertures by turning the Main dial, which will change the combination of aperture and shutter speed so as to maintain the same exposure value, but with a different combination of aperture/shutter speed.
