After my 8 year old custom 180 decided to have structural issues, I am now in the early planning stages for round 2. Does anyone have any pictures of really nicely co-ordinated multi-tank builds (or suggestions on what to search for, since I'm not having that much luck with "multi-tank", and a lot of the older threads seem to have lost their images). I'm following the "wonderwall" thread with interest, but that hasn't quite made it from concept to reality as yet.
At a minimum what I am envisaging is a moderately sized main display of ~180 gallons, with at least one if not two satellite display tanks, one of which would be the refugium/seahorse/peaceful tank that would ideally gravity feed into the display, and the other would be my mantis/angry creature tank, all arranged in an L-shaped area.
I'm looking for inspiration on how to tie it all together, and to see how other people's multi-tank setups look, particularly when the tanks are on different levels and of varying heights. Haven't decided on whether to go with a very big custom stand or just start building walls, so any suggestions/pointers/pictures would be appreciated.
