Multiple pairs of firefish?

I have a pair of regular Firefish in my 65g right now and thought it would be cool to have a pair of purple Firefish also. I know that they will fight with their "own kind" if they are not a mated pair, but are they different enough to get along?

Unless firefish are a bonded pair, in the long run you will end up with just one.

No, they are not different enough to get along. The purples will likely be intimidated to the point of jumping and/or starving.
