Multiple Small Yellow Tangs?

So I recently went snorkeling in Kona, Hawaii and loved all the yellow tangs.

What's the chances of getting 3 or 5 small yellow tangs to coexist in my 6' long 125g FOWLR? I plan on introducing them at the same time, after I get rid of the one medium sized one which is the current "boss".
I've been researching but haven't come across any threads to make me believe I shouldn't try this.

Any thoughts, especially success stories, would be appreciated.

Maybe in a bigger tank but even then I heard in time they start to fight. I wouldn't attempt it in a 125.

probably possible, but it'll be hit and miss with the individual fish.

one theory is that with 5-6+ YT's in a tank, it confuses them. the aggression is spreaded out , thus one particular fish doesnt get picked on all the time by another. also, b/c of it being so crowded, they dont become territorial.

"emilio c" 300g DD so same length tank as yours, just deeper and taller.

i also would love to add 2 more yellow tangs to my tank but i already have 1 yellow tang and 1 purple tang! do you guys think it would be ok to add smaller sized tangs or bigger then my existing tangs? i can put them in an acclimation box until they get used to each other.

I've been debating the same thing for my 220, putting 4-5 smaller yellow tangs in there. Still not sure about it...so following the thread for ideas and advice :)

Thanks geaux xman - The pictures help prove that it can be done

bagz727 - I won't try which is why i'm getting rid of the medium sized I currently have

btkrausen - I don't see why not with a 220; however, I'm guessing it also depends on what you currently have too.

I'm starting with an empty 125g that's been fallow for 4 weeks after a ich outbreak, so I have another 4-6 weeks to go looking for 5 small yellow tangs...

Well, right now, I have a Long Fin Fairy wrasse in there...thats it :)

Some where I read an article, I think it was David Saxby that said he had to remove his yellow tangs and replace them with new ones every so often cause after a certain ammount of time they would kill each other otherwise. Anybody else remember that article.
