Mummy eye chalice questions

I recently purchased a very large piece of mummy eye. I decided to frag it. I have mostly 1-2 eye frags. My questions are 1. Is this for sure mummy eye? 2. What is a fair asking price for a frag with 1-3 eyes? Thank you in advance for the help. ~Dan

I agree with the others about it being bubblegum monster. Still $20 for the smaller pieces and up to $40 for the larger ones.

+1 on the bubblegum. Also there is 3g mummy eye and Emerald mummy eye both have a huge difference. The Emerald and the bubblegum are often difficult to tell the difference but in my opinion (not scientifically proven) the bubblegum is rougher than the emerald such as yours

Awesome thanks guys! I was thinking more bubble gum than mummy eye. I have a decent amount available and am working on shipping. So if anyone is interested ill see what I can work out on shipping.

If you didn't purchase it as a mummy eye with lineage then it's just one of the many color morphs. Names are just that....a name.

People but wild colonies all the time that are identical to the captive bred pieces

With one caveat.. They are not captive bread yet. Some pieces just do better as they have adapted to our tanks and stresses.

This is why some of us seek out the aquacultured goodies out there vs. some freshly shipped/chopped specimen.

But he is right without lineage back to the original it is just another chalice and could be anything..

I am not a fan of the whole lineage thing myself but it is what it is.

But it is a very nice piece and the frags look awsume...
