Kind of looks like a hairy mushroom

yeah, hairy mushroom. I like them but they grow at a relatively fast rate and pack a punch against LPS coral.

Ok thanks I have him on a separate rock only other thing on it is a bounce shroom.

Agreed, I tend to isolate mine in the sand.
