Mushroom lunch

I raided my sons stash of steamer clams this morning. I'm a newbie so this was all fascinating to me....

Breakfast for lucky mushrooms...

About 20 minutes later this one had swallowed the clam and opened fully up again.

Yes it does look like a rose...and I'm hoping that it fools the baby GSM into thinking the same thing. I bought my GSM yesterday and I noticed he's been eyeing the mushroom all day. Keeping my fingers crossed.

It's not a nem though. It's a red 2 inch Discosoma mushroom. Here's another picture of it.

its a carribean sanctithomae shroom. They arent so easy to find... especially in that AWESOME color!!!

where did you get that shroom and did they have more? Ive been searching for a red one!! they are my fav. coral!!

Yours is beautiful! they never cease to amaze.. its not a noob thing I think the feeding time is great too
