I bought a rock from a local store that has a mushroom on it. About a month later the rock exploded with green algae and I need to get it out my tank. How do I get the mushroom to detach without harming it so that I can reattach it to a clean rock. The rock is completely covered and I have to keep manually plucking the algae to keep the mushroom from been smothered.
