Mushroom sprayed me in the eyes

I was fragging and a ****ing mushroom managed to somehow get passed my glasses and get me in the eye. Any suggestions?

Lots of water and flushing it. If it gets worse..ER Trip. I don't know if they release toxins or not.

Happened to me a couple dozen times. Just give it a good rinse, mine never puffed up or anything but did hurt for a little bit.

I'd like to report that I saw some adverse affects so that people could be more cautious when dealing with these animals. However, I am perfectly fine. That being said, I would advise anyone who is working with these animals to use the rule of overkill when protecting yourself. I used to be a welder by trade. So, I now use my welding helmet. Problem solved! Lets see a mushroom or zoa squirt me in the eye now! Studies are showing the palytoxins, the toxin in zoas, can cause temporary or permanent sight loss. So, dont be stupid about these things.

Like others have mentioned, it all depends on how your own body reacts. Ive been squirted multiple times with Palys and have never had a reaction. I cant get near Almonds though:/

How do you see anything at all out of a welding helmet? hell I can't see anything at all when I'm welding with a welding helmet. Which is one reason that I am not a
welder.

see... back in the day... my grandpappy got shot and cut and had no antibiotics and fools were dieing of malaria and STILL they made it out alive..

that being said.. i wear goggles when i get to fraggin because i won't want to do my eyes a disservice of seeing my wifes sweet..err cakes on a daily basis.
