Mushroom? will it be ok here?

Wil this Mushroom live ok on top/between the live rock? this is where it landed and attached. it is half way up the tank on top/between the LR. Also could you ID the Mushroom? I have been told 3 different things.

i can't ID but i can tell u it will be fine where its at. As long as its getting some light, and it looks like it is, it will do great. Thats why i like mushrooms....its hard to loose one.

It looks like a Discosoma sp. to me. Mushrooms are capable of slight mobility, so if it is not happy, it can move a little to a more ideal spot. Also, if it not getting enough light, you will notice the column of the mushrooms extending, and the oral disc taking on a trumpet like shape (the polyp does this as a morphological adaption to try and gather as much light as possible).
