they are probably changing color to protect from extra UV produced by T5.

Were those the same exact ones? What were you running before? It could be a an adaptation. Are you running more actinic now?

they are the same exact ones just moved them to the bottom of tank thought they might do better there
i was running 2 x 65 watt 10k and 2 x 65 watt actinic (power compact)
now running 8 x 54 watt T5's 4 x 10k, 2 x 420 actinic and 2 x 460 actinic

it has been about three weeks all ready since I switched my lights

I'd try moving them lower down in the tank. It's probably too bright for them.


Edited: The change in color is probably becaus of the change in lighting, but the shrivelling up is because it's too bright.

the second picture is them on the the bottom of the tank are t5's to strong for soft corals

I don't think the bright light will kill them or anything, but they'll perk up more if you can find a ledge for them to sit under or shady corner.
