You have a very nice tank.
was there a reason why you switched from BB to a sand bed?

I had intended on a light sand covering in the tank. The southdown sand that I had intended to use was hard to come by at the time the tank was filled. So, I added sand at a later date. It it is much more of a safe undertaking to add sand after the rock is set any way. That is why it appears that I went from BB to a sand bed.
