You say you are not good with the camera, but those pictures are awesome. At least the subject matter is awesome.

I had intended on a light sand covering in the tank. The southdown sand that I had intended to use was hard to come by at the time the tank was filled. So, I added sand at a later date. It it is much more of a safe undertaking to add sand after the rock is set any way. That is why it appears that I went from BB to a sand bed.
 
The spread on the acropora is quite impressive. Did you purchase those at an advanced stage or were they frags when you started?


Very healthy looking tank.
