My 200DD

I switched from a standard 210 to a Marineland 200DD over the past year. Started off in 01/17 buying a Deep Blue 57, which was a nice tank in its own way. Price was right, so that was my holding tank for my three remaining fish. I had a caulerpa, bubble algae, and majano infestation I tried to deal with for a couple years without success and lost all my corals. The only things not bleached, cooked, and cured to touch the new system are those three fish. My big coral pieces and extra fish came out of two local tank break downs, maybe could have done without all the Blue Ridge, but it added instant character to a new tank. All the other rock had cycled since about March or late August of last year before I set the new tank up.

Water went in the new system in early November with CaribSea livesand and part of the rock I had curing. The big corals, and rock were added about the second week of December. The rest of the fish were added sometime around Valentine's Day without looking the specific date up. The Maxima happened just after Christmas.

I have added a few nicer frags with a couple of recent swaps that seem to be doing very well, along with some of my own I've made (more by accident than not).

I decided on the Triton method and I'm still working to get my alk dialed in and have yet to send an ICP test in.

If there's interest and I can figure out a new way to post pics since the PB fiasco I'll add some more detail and show the project from the start.

Hope you enjoy!
