This is my first saltwater tank. I've had my 28 gallon Professional LED Nano Cube set up for about 2 months now. I have been doing alot of reading and still feel like i know absolutely nothing, but I've been having a lot of fun watching everything develop. My parameters seem to be relatively stable, but I'm using an API test kit and I'm starting to realize they aren't very good, so I plan to get some salifert tests and maybe some Hanna checkers. If anyone has suggestions about these I would really appriciate it.
This is what I have in my tank.
24lbs live rock
20lbs of sand
7 nassarius snails
3 ceriths
4 blue legged hermits
1 cleaner shrimp
2 Ocellaris Clowns
1 Blue/Green Chromis
I replaced the stock media basket with one from InTank and have filter floss, purigen, and chemi-pure elite. I also just set up an AquaC Nano Remora Protein Skimmer with a maxi-jet 900. I'm also running a Koralia Nano 240 in there to help add some more circulation and a True Temp titanium heating system.
