Hey guys,

Im new here but some of you may know me from AC. Anyway... I have kept many smaller tanks before and have 1+ years experience with SW. I have recently set up a 30g and it has been cycled for about 2-3 months now. As of now the lighing on my tank is a 96w T-5, and I will be adding another one of the same fixtures to the tank. My next step is to add some corals :D . I would appreciate some suggestions of corals that would make a beuatiful display with the lighting I have now.

Thanks in advance!

Well, with good T-5 light fixtures you should be able to keep almost anything you want. I had a 30 long run by an ice cap vho ballast running 4 bulbs over it and I was able to keep everything except tridacna clams. If you are still pretty new to corals, any of the common soft corals should do great although you may have to frag or prune them out as they could possibly overgrow your tank in a short timespan. You should be able to keep leathers, sinularias, lobophytum, sarcophytons, Xenia, star polyps pretty much ant type of mushrooms, most zoo's you name it.
What type of equipment do you have? What is the make of your t-5 fixture?

Thanks for the reply,

The name of the light is Aqualight. I saw it in a LFS over a 30g long and all of the corals were thriving, so I figured that I would try it and if things did not work out than i would add another fixture. (BTW the fixture is only 42w, sorry for the confusion).
