I always wanted to do sps corals; so after my first three tanks, I thought, why not. I started out with a 40 gallon breeder, but it didn't go to well. With in the first month I had a good 150 aiptasia! I changed tanks, got 15 more pounds of live rock to add to the only 23 pounds I could salvage from the old tank. It's been running for 6 months now with only one set back. Random, fast acting, fish disease. Both of my fish were near death 3 days after the fist symptoms were noticed. Unfortunatly, the Copper Banded Butter fly fish didn't make it. That was a double blow, he was suppose to get rid of the last 10 aiptasia that managed to sneak in. Right now things hare gone well. I do plan to get a Vortec-mp10, and a pacific sun led system, you know go green and all.
