My 37g pics taken with a Canon Rebel XTi - 180mm macro lens

Borrowed this lens from a friend.. so the pictures aren't great, but wow... a big improvement over the stock lens. I'm only just getting started so I only have a button polyp to show.

Lemme know what you think. Any suggestions for camera settings would be appreciated.

I think you are having trouble with sharpness and depth of field.

I'm not great at this, but try stopping down your aperture a bit and see if that helps.
