my 6 line wrasse is MIA......

My 6 line wrasse dissapeared, he has jumped out of the tnak once but i found him in time on the carpet. Last week he was in the overflow, now hes just gone. I have been looking all around the tank but hes nowhere to be found. Guess its time to go fish shopping.

Don't jump the gun...Mine used to be MIA for a days at a time every few months.
He would stay Buried in the substrate and just pop back up.
Not all wrasses sleep in the substrate I'm not sure about the sixline.

I found two websites that say they indeed do sleep in the substrate.
Do you have any cats or dogs that could have carried it off if it had jumped?

No other animals but fish, he was in there yesterday for sure. I dont have substrate, im thinking he died and got eaten but who knows....

How about hiding spots within the rock work?
You might give it a few days before you replace him incase he shows up.

He was never much of a hider though, he would always swim around int he flow, he was a little uh how you say? dee dee dee
