I thought I would share a little side project I put together. The idea was to make this the antithesis of my main reef by going as budget and DIY as possible by using old items I had laying around, etc. Sad thing is, my wife and kids like it better than my main reef which is full of "boring sticks".
It started with the tank itself which was a leaker that I picked up for $25. In all, I would say I put about $200-$250 in it when all was said and done.
The sump is a plain 20L. And the fuge is made from a 5g bucket that is gravity fed.
