Ok here is my tank from Day 2 to the middle of it's fifth month.

Day 2 ( Moved from my 55g Breeder to this 90g )

2 Weeks later I sold my Old T5 lighting and moved to 2x250w MH w/14k bulbs.

This picture is after the new lighting was over the tank for about 2 weeks, notice the deeper color's from my corals.

I moved my Eel out of the 90g over to this 24g Aquapod Nano Cube, between the Eel and all the fish in the 90g, the bioload was just to high and he needed to be moved out.

rjwilson37, how much live rock do you have in there and what type is it? I'm about to set my 90 up and am trying to figure how much Live rock to get. Great looking tank by the way! i hope mine will look similar.

They say about 1-2lbs per gallon. Again this is very rough, because it all depends on bio load and density of the rock.

I'm guessing about 50lbs tops. Good looking tank though. I just love the caps!!!

The tank is a Standard AGA 90g w/Overflow and MegaFlow overflow kit.

I have like 100lbs of LR where 75lb is Fiji and the other 25lbs is some Aquacultured stuff.

I have had my Eel for 2 years, where he started off at about 7 or 8 inches and now he is about 18 inches.

If that is 100lbs of rock then it must be some super heavy and very dense stuff. Did you happen to weigh it yourself just to make sure? Please understand that I am no knocking your beautiful tank, I just don't see 100lbs there.

Nice Male Watanabe.
It is a male Lamarck's Angel.

I started off with 55lbs of LR in my first 29g tank, I then added 25lbs of LR to the 55g I moved to which was the Aquacultered stuff that I used to cycle the 55g and then I moved everything from the 29g over to the 55g.

I purchased almost 25lbs of cured Fiji LR from a LFS going out of business for the 90g just before I moved the 55g over to the 90g. Here are some pictures of the different tanks I have setup over the past 3 years.

55g tank after 29g moved over to it which is about 75lbs of LR.

90g Tank before the 55g was moved over to it, this was just under 25lbs which I think is pretty dense stuff.

I am planning a new tank and Looking at yours makes me wonder: How do you deal with the heat issues from the MH?

thanks NexDog and falconut!

I wanted an Angel and also needed one that was Reef Safe. My favorite is the Majestic Angel, but they are hit and miss of which more hit your corals and clams than those that don't.
