Hi, this is my calcium reactor log, its been running for a day. and it seems stabilized. What do you think?

A= Time/Date
B= Effluent PH
C= Effluent KH
D= Tank PH
E= Tank KH
F= Co2 drops
G= Effluent drops

A-----B--C--D--E--F--G
6:26
7/02 7.6 13 7.6 08 08 35

9:54
7/02 7.2 28 7.6 08 16 37

7:13
7/03 7.0 33 --- -- 15 39

12:16
7/03 6.8 37 --- -- 14 39

2:30
7/03 6.8 37 7.6 07 14 36

9:20
7/03 6.8 39 7.6 07 14 33

Anything I should tweak/change?
Whats the optimal tank PH and KH
THANKS

u better shut off the reactor ,your alk is too high.your goal is to maintain a steady alk not raising it.i keep mine at 9-10 alk and ph at 8.1-8.3.gl

Thanks, i just raised the co2 to 20 BPM and the effluent to around 50 DPM

I'm starting to get hte hang of it now, but just a few questions

(1) if the KH of the effluent is above 25, how does the tank maintain a KH of 8
(2) if the PH of the effluent is around 6, how does the tank maintain a PH of 7-8
(3) is it alright to you KENT's superbuffer. it keeps the PH and KH of t he tank stable.

THANKS

first of all,raise your tank ph ,alk ,calcium to your own taste.then set your calcium reactor to maintain it.started it slow ,turn it up as your tank demand more.until all your parameter is stable for a week.then u know u have it dial in right .that why it's important to test it every other day to see what u tank need.gl

cool. well the tank PH is around 8 and the KH is 8 due to the buffer I add prior to setting up the tank, so my question is do I continue adding buffer in my top off?

The calcium is 400 so the tank parameter is good, I guess I just have to wait. I managed to drop my reactor PH to 6.5 so the reactor should be reaccting the ARM media now. THANKS
