A friend of mine just upgraded to 250's---he'd been using the 2x150de bulbs...nice. My own croceas are relatively long, moreso than my maximas, in comparison. I will say, though, that all the teardrop maximas I've seen are very long, and very wide, squat openings, almost similar to a hippopus---very bowl-like. This could be a factor of natural environment, as I haven't seen many teardrops offered, correction, any teardrops offered, that weren't wild collected. IMHO, it looks like a crocea, but I'm partial to croceas anyway. Very nice. I really like the orange center coloration. One day soon, I'll have, or at least have access to a digital camera, and a computer for that matter. My own pc is a "saurus", and I don't have $ for a decent one. I use several tank buddies' computers to get online.
happy clamming!!!
