my clown and its host....the overflow

Well I have 2 GSM clowns and they are working on paint but havent yet so they sleep on opposite sides of my tank.

Well one of them has taken to hosting my overflow pipe. Well at night when it sleeps I guess it gets a little lazy and gets sucked into my overflow and down into the sump.

Any ideas how to prevent this?

well i guess it would help if we saw a picture of the overflow so we can better analyze how to prevent him from going down it....

Yea I guess there are worse things but its a pain to fish him out as I have tones of rock in my sump.

Ill work on a pic when I get home. As a rough idea. I use a hoffer gurgle buster type system so there is a 4" pipe reducer that has an 1 1/2" pipe in the middle. The 1 1/2" tube has several large holes drilled in it to allow water to flow through it. The top lip is about 1/2" below the water surface.
