My clown hosted in my colt coral

I put the coral in the corner that my 2 clowns have claimed as theirs. The larger female has hosted with my colt coral. The smaller male has remained up in that corner, but has not developed any intimate relationship with the coral.

They embrace for the night.

My sailfin passes by. He always wants to get in front of my lens.

They are a funny fish to watch, I really get enjoyment from the clown fish. and thanks for sharing those pics.

I have seen them host in a gonnipora, under a clam, xenia, frogspawn, fuzzy mushrooms, etc....they are truly funny fish.

My first pair played in Long Tentacle Plate, then Frogspawn, then Xenia, but finally settled down in a huge patch of Zoos. My second pair haven't decided what they like yet....So far just the powerhead.....

This coral died a month after the clown started hosting it. It had been thriving before I added the clown .Now i have a pretty skeleton w coralline that my other corals sit on!

Nice Howard:)
I've had clowns for years and never been successful at getting them to host anything. I finally acquired an RBTA at the last swap so I'm hoping I can find a spot where it will settle in and take care of my black perculas.

My maroons hosted an upside down clam shell while they were in a holding tank when they were babies. They came out of the egg wanting to host! They have hosted everything in the tank so I guess I am just lucky.
