My dendros are not opening

I have 4 heads on this small colony of Dendrophyllia Arbuseula. 3 out of 4 heads are completely closed for over 2 weeks now.

It strange b/c I feed the other head that's open almost everyday.
I have another small colony of different Dendrophyllia that 's doing awesome. Should I be concerned? Should I move it to different location?

Thanks,

James

The only one that's opening is the far right one. The other 3 heads are closed.

I had the same problem once. It was close for about 2 weeks. Mine was getting irritated by my cleaner shrimps. Try moving it.

What's the SG and temperature?
I had the same problem and mine started to die. I asked Mike at the captive reef about it and he told me they prefer an SG of about 1.023-1.024 with a temp around 78-79. The tank it was in was at 1.026 and 81-82. Fixed those two problems and it seems to be recovering slowly.

I keep my salinity at 1.026 & my Dendros never close. I don't think it makes a differance if you keep it at 1.024 or 1.026 I mean unless you know what the salinity was where it was collected your just guessing. I keep my salinity at 1.026 that's what the salinity is in the Atlantic Ocean in my region. Dendros & suncorals are collected in turbid areas try putting a power head in front for a little more flow.
