Did you get that as a frag off of a health colony? I'd love to hear some background info on it.
I just bought a wild pink tip and a purple tip over a month ago. The pink tip got the "sickness", so I killed it in a bucket of ice. The purple tip is doing good so far(keeping fingers crossed).

Hey sorry man, I should have just updated this thread. I got it from a reefer who had it for a few years. I wouldn't even try one, just doesn't seem right. If you buy one and even if you're one of the lucky few, your LFS will just continue to bring them in.

Back in 2002 I picked one up not knowing that elegance corals were dying like crazy in the trade, previously they were quite hardy corals and relatively easy to keep. I ended up donating this elegance to a lfs show tank as it grew to a foot+ in diameter. Here are some old pics from my old tank.
