My feather duster is naked....

When I got home to check my tank......I saw that my feather duster was on one side of the tank, completely buried in the substrate, only showing its feathers......but its cacoon was on the other side of the tank? Is this normal? He is totally alive and even retracted into the sand when I reach in to put his tube next to him....just wondering if he will be alright..

I think it will be fine. I had one in my 250 gal tank that did that from time to time for different reasons. It always built another home within a few days. Good Luck :)

When mine did this, unfortunately the fire shrimp got to him before I could. They said thanks, he was delicious.
