Hello,

This is my first salt water tank. I would like to have in a pair of clowns and some soft and easy to maintain corals.

Tank: 20x12x12 (12g)
Filtration: HOB Filter Aquael FZN2 (200g/h) filled with 0.2g of matrix
Heater: Fluval Tronic 50w
Light: Solar Duo Boy 26w (1/3 30000k si 2/3 10000k)

Live sand 10 pounds
Live rock 7 pounds
Ro/Di with grotech easy mix (1.024)

I added also Nite Out2 and Special Blend from Seachem.

The aquarium was started on 19.03.2012 and today's tests was:

PH 8.0
NH4 <0.25
NO2 1
NO3 50

Temp 25 C
Sal 1.024

i didnt change any water until the cycle was over, when it was i did, it lets you cycle faster as far as i know.

Do a water change after your tank has finished cycling.

I like the first aquascape, before the addition of the new piece of LR. But I think it should look really good once it is filled up with corals.

Following.

New aquascape is sexy.

Can't ID the pictures though. They do look like eggs, and the latest picture looks like tunicates.

No sump, equipment list is in his/her first post.

Are you planning on adding a power head? A Koralia Nano possibly?

Foarte misto. The last aquascape is very neat and I must add that this is the 1st saltwater aquarium from Bucharest.

Neato, I'll keep an eye on this to see how it pans out. Good luck!
