Well everything that i have read makes me think blasto's are a little picky. I have this guy getting indirect light, and a little flow.
Picked up at a lfs. The poor coral died and came back.
The colors on it are pretty sweet. Nice red and yellow.
I have noticed my acans like my dkh at 11, and look the best at that range, and so far he looks like he llikes my tank.
This is a 40 polyp colony that died, and has about 20 little babies.
Nice prodject coral, and for 29.99 not too shabby for a first blasto.
Now for feedings i feed my tank 1 to 2 times a week of half doses to spread out the feedings and not pollute the water too bad.
Any special tricks for growth that anybody can share for the babies?
TIA

Picture quality = OK
Blasto = Nice!

I have a couple of colonies and mine like lower light. They are on the bottom and off to the side of my 58 with a 150W 14K. Medium flow.

Yeah i know the pic sucks. LOL I am running all t-5's and havnt figured whats the best setting for my camera.
Thanks, I'll be working on it.

Heya Creetin :) Nice blasto!

Works for me to kill the circulation and target feed several times a week. Every day if you like.

Also, be sure to keep your Alk/Ca/Mg stable and in range. I know a few people that lost their blastos due to not paying attention to their Mg levels.

Thanks mr ugly, And also nizmo, It has alot of potential.
Thanks for the nice words.

Nice blasto. Just be careful under t5's. Keep them in the shade for a couple of weeks and target feed mysis. I have had great success with blastos, bringing back half dead ones etc. You have got to feed them.

I have found on my camera, the best setting for corals, is the close up setting. Nice coral btw.
