my first chalice

my local club had a frag swap over the weekend and i got two chalice frags for free. one is a blue/purple color with pink eyes, 2-3 eyes. the other is a gorgeous green and orange with red eyes, 2 eyes. maybe someone could give me a possible ID. im hoping they grow into some nice colonies

Looks like some kind of mummy eye chalice.

its possible. we fragged the colony at our swap and it was a more dark green and had more colors than other mummy eye chalice i've seen. i should have taken a pic before we cut it up

Nice freebies!!! Agree some kind of mummy eye or bubble gum chalice. I think both have potential to color up even more.

great idea on shading them.once they adapt to the tank they will flourish.watch out for the sweepers and feeders they pack a strong punch on these guys.i love the way they look with them extended like a totally dif coral.keep us posted on the growth.freebes rule.most of mine were freebee dieing corals wich i brought back to life.
