My first DSLR first attempts

Hey everyone..

Just picked up my first good camera, a Nikon D5300 w 18-140mm kit lens. I really like the macro side of photography but as I'm sure you know macro lenses can range from pricy to just the other side of outrageous. I picked up some extension tubes to get my feet wet and see if I want to invest in a lens later.

Not to bad. I bought my 60mm macro new for 550$

look pretty good. look like they might be a bit soft/unfocused/blurry. but that will come with practice
