my first fish question

just got my very first fish today, a pair of juvenile ocellaris  ....just too cute. my wife already thinks im a nut

only about an inch long and swimming together in the 20g tank which is gonna be the QT

when should i start to try to feed them?
should i turn off the pump when i try? (to keep the food from moving everywhere)

i have some one millimeter sized sinking pellets which the lfs said was good for them.

another question for this newbie. somewhere i read that they will need something brightly colored in the tank for their color---->is this true? i only have live rock and a white mug in there for them to hide in. they will be in that tank for a few months until i get a larger tank up and running

they should be fine in the twenty gallon. You can start to feed whenever you want. Tank raised fish will eat almost immediately. Try the pellet food and if that doesnt work try brine shrimp. I mostly favor the pellet food b/c it hs pigment enhancing qualities that keep my fish nice and bright.
