Ok, what to say? i'm 21 and i had my first tank at the age of 7, I had many sweet water aquariums and a 25 gallons reef tank, this one only for 2 years.

Due to economical and time problems (I had 3 aquariums at the same time, and don't know how is the situation from you, but here in Italy electricity is a punch on the liver every month! And as i start my university studies the time that i could dedicate to my tanks became every day smaller) i decided to dismantle all my tanks.

But like all of you I simply can't stay without any piece of coral in my hands, so i decided to build up a new little tank after christmass :fun4:

So, let's start:

Since my smallest tank was 20 gallons i'm not sure about how to really good aquarium for SPS, which are of course my favourites, i will also include some little and selected LPS and zohants.

The tank will have these measures: 30x30x35, barely 4 gallons net (with live rocks and all other stuff)..
Obviously led light system, home made i think: what about number and colour of leds? i will probably use 3 or 10w leds depending on how much time to dedicate to the job will i have
For my old tank i used the ATI salt, it was heavely loaded with CA and MG, can I still use it in a nano or there are better choiches?
another question is about the table.. my old tank was 50cm high so a 60cm table was sufficient, what about a 35cm tank?
I'm also wondering if there is any method to cover the ugly bottom glass with some kind of sand, without running into problems of pullution and debris (no DSB in 30 liters please:lol2:)
Is there a tiny skim, maybe an hanging one? and what about carbon and resins?
I saved from somewhat old tank a 300 l/h eheim pump, is suitable for my nano? maybe with another one of the same power?
Moreover I'm not sure of which buffer will be necessary and which of them do i have to buy and which can i produce by myself

thanks for you answer and sorry for my bad english!!
:wavehand:
