SO, I've had saltwater tanks for 3 years. Got out for 1.5 years b/c of school and now I'm back. I wanted to DIR this time around so I'm doing a QT tank. I have a 30L (aquaclear 70 w/powerhead and some PVC) with a blue hippo and a Vlaminigi pair all 3 are right at 1.5 inches long so bigtime babies. All are eating like pigs, blue is shyer than vlaminigi but that is expected.
Now today I saw the first signs of ich on the blue hippo, but it inflamed quick, like went from no signs to full blown. Fed the fish a few hours ago and everyone ate. Vlaminigi show no signs, but I'm assuming they have it as well. So I just dosed my first round of Cupramine. So I did the proper dose per gallon, I wait 48 hrs then add the same amount to the tank again?? Is this correct? I just wanna make sure I'm going about this properly. Carbon was removed of course. Let me know if I should do anything differently. I have done my research on here and think I am proceeding appropriately.
