First I must say that everyone in sps keepers has beautiful tanks and I feel a bit out of place, but I am starting with some sps in my current tank and need advice and information.

75 gallon tank, 20 gallon sump, reef octopus skimmer, mp10, (2) koralia 1050's, 4x54 current usa lighting with ati bulbs. I have a heater but dont run it, temp stays at 77-78??? Room temp 72

These are a couple of my new sps corals. I have no idea what they are...

I am going to begin 2 part dosing daily in the next couple of days. I also am having a slight problem with cyano and some hair algae. Thoughts?

Cyano and hair algae is probally caused by some excess phosphates in your tank, maybe run some Gfo to slowly reduce it.

Any problems or concerns that gfo can cause? My overflow runs through a filter sock so I could throw some pellets in it.

one of the stranger growth patterns in the Monti I have seen , haha. Just out of curiousity, how long in between the 'before' and 'after' ?

Yea, that seems to be the most common response. Thanks.

Anyone have any advice on things to change, add, or remove?
