my first Ricordea's

what is the best placement for them? I have 3x 150mh +6 65w pcs
tank is 18" deep

Ric's seem to be pretty forgiving as far as lighting is concerned. With 150 watts I would try between halfway down and the bottom. If they look to be reaching for light move them up some.

start at bottom. or if you know the exact lighting and height from the water you can go from there.

i have my rics all over the tank, some are on the bottom and some are closer to the top and they all seem to be doing good..

btw i have 2 250w hqi fixtures and 4 54w t-5's
