My first SPS

So I finally got my first SPS after much waiting and thinking about it. It had now been a month and I think it's doing OK, but want your feedback. I also got the Acan below and want to know if you think it is OK.

+1 if it's an acan, I'd move it to somewhere with less light and flow and see if it puffs up more.

Hmm. I was under the impression that it was am Acan, but you may be right.

Looks like a favia to me as well.as for the birds nest it looks good but they can be finicky. I never was able to keep a birds nest at all even the farm raised ORA ones.they werey arch nemesis so I gave up on birds nests.

We'll see how it goes. It has been a month now. I don't plan on buying any other SPS until this one makes it at least 3 months and shows signs of growth. Thank you for your feedback.

The birdsnest looks fine to me. You should already be seeing signs of growth if you have had it a month. They grow fast.

You are correct, I just compared a pic from when I got it and yesterday and there are 3 or 4 new small tips. I didn't know that they grew this fast.

I think that is a good sign.
