I just realized that my shrimp was pregnant today.
Here is a pic:

Sorry i couldn't really get a pic showing eggs, but it's really hard and i want to disturb her as less as possible.
(one in foreground is the pregnant one)

My question is:

What is the best way to go about raising the fry

you wont be able to raise the fry shrimp go threw way to many morphs/stages before thay are shrimp. But it will be some good coral food. :)

Actually there are a few people that are trying to raise these in captivity. It is not an easy task, and involves many different setups, but there are a few who are trying to do it.

Enriched rotifers, Artemac, enriched artemia nauplii. I think they have about a dozen zoae stages-takes 30 to 60 days. Be sure not to use air stones and the bubbles actually cause loads of damage. A blacked out (they are highly phototaxic) round container (square or round is too hard to keep the zoae drifting without clumping up in a corner or on the bottom) is your best bet. Do a google search for breeding hymenocera and look at Chuck's addiction site. Good luck.
