My How Things Change

Greetings.
Due to a divorce 20 some years ago, my 110 high has been in storage.
So I haven't kept up on the hobby. Closing on a new house next week, so either that tank, if it still holds water, or a new one will be getting set up as a reef tank.
Back then I was running a Monaco Filtration system on a reef tank.
MH for lighting.
Now I see it's refugiums and LEDS.
Another huge change is the price. Can't believe how much the prices have gone up on livestock.
Anyways, no questions at the moment, but guessing I'll have a lot once I get rolling.

Thanks ahead of time.
Mike

Welcome aboard. Is a 110 the largest tank you will ever want? If so, great, you've already got one. If you think you may want to upgrade within five years, do the upgrade now. If a 180 (or 240) is your ideal tank, why buy equipment sized for a smaller tank to just have to buy the same stuff capable of handling a larger tank in a couple years, anyway? It's an expensive hobby, why buy stuff twice? Good luck and post some pics as you go along.

Welcome Back! I have been out of the game for 10 years and man even that short time things have changed. LEDS seem like a great step forward and even in the ten years livestock prices seem to have gone up! Oh well, Love the hobby and look forward to seeing your new setup!
