AHHH! I come home today at lunch time to fire up my light and the dang thing wouldnt fire up! Checked all of the wiring and made sure it was plugged in, and everything checked out ok. I then checked the bulb, and the filiment that accually lights up is gone! just disappered!!! WTH!

I ordered a new bulb. Anyone have a spare light I can use until the weekend. anything!

-Lesson learned. The guy I bought my light from offered me a spare bulb that he had about a month ago for $25 shipped. shoulda taken it. -note: keep spare parts handy, or know where you can get a replacement fast. especially light.

I got 3 18 inch 10000K NO t-5s you can use. They are not all that strong but will do the job in a pinch or 4 ea 10000k 13 watt PC retros that will work as well.

Yeah it was nice but WAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY over priced for how much rust is on the thing. The car has been sitting in the same spot for over a year and I am perfectly willing to take it off his hands but he just wants too much for the rust bucket it is. Makes me regret not taking the 75 skyline that a dealership had in trade for my wagon a few years ago. At least that thing only required a few thousand in body work.

You did wanna sell those lights to me right?
they look real good IMO. The wiring is horrible, but im going to make a real nice harness when I redo the hood.

Yeah, we can work something out. Mount the ballasts outside of the hood if you can to reduce heat and damage from salt creep

My new bulb came today. New bulbs are super bright :)
the old bulb "had about 2 months on it" but in reality, I think it had a few more than that on it. This new bulb is a HECK of alot brighter than this new bulb.

Jeff, we need to get together about the CF.

I wanna find some 10k bulbs. I cant seem to find any, but then again, ive only looked at a few places. I thought for sure that hellolights would have a 10k bulb, but they only have 65000k
