My messed up Coral Beauty, from ich to eye cloud

--I posted this in beginners corner, but it was suggested I post it here as well --

So I bought a coral beauty a few weeks back and placed him in my QT, a few days after purchase, I noticed he had a 2 white spots on him, so I treated him with copper. Since then the spots have disappeared and have not come back. The copper treatment ends this saturday.

However, he still scratches himself on a piece of PVC tubing, right on his eye. Seeing as he keeps doing it only on his eye, his eye is now puffed up and very cloudy, just that one eye. EVerything on his body is perfect except for that spot. Is he doing this because he's nervous, or is it because he still has ich? I'm also wondering if he'll recover from this.

My QT tank's parameters all check out ok. And he is provided with enough hiding spots. The tank is filtered with a HOB filter, and is provided air bubbles via air stone. I feed him once daily, but very little as he does not always eat. I'm using a 10 gallon right now, because my 25 cracked

So, what should I do? Should I get him out of the QT tank if the scratching is just from stress, or do I leave him in there and risk him dying. I know I should never introduce a fish that has problems into my DT. But, like I said I don't want him to die in QT if its only stress related. He is a very very timid fish.

I did remove the carbon before treatment began. And I tested my copper levels every other day. I'll remove the copper by reinserting the carbon, and when that's out, I'll try and find this Maracyn. I do have API Melafix on hand, which treats open sores, fin rot, eye cloud, pop eye and wounds. And it contains Melaleuca. Is this good?
