Might want to get that star out. Given the opportunity, they will eat anything you have in that tank. I have even seen them eat eachother.

shot ~#38 show the star being taken out I wouldn't worry about it too much.
how many gallons is that ? great looking tank!

it's a approx. 230 litres tank(50 gal) tank, using a 20000k 150w MH + 2 x 27W blue flourescent tubes...

it's a prey for my shrimps that hunt for star fish....i know it sounds cruel... but without it, they'll starve

you're right, there's a pic showing the shrimp is eating the star.

tks mille239, btw, i'm thinking to put some macro algae in the tank to absorp pollutants, will this be a good idea? anyone can suggest a fast-growing marco algae?

How often do you feed the harlequin shrimps? After you put the star in, how fast do they eat it (wondering if it has time to do any damage)?

hi lobster,
fortunately the 2 shrinps are always hungry, i give them 1 star per week, and it usually being hunted immediately, less than 2 hours.. :lol:
