The morray eels are not in the reef but I plan on adding them later.
They are reefsafe if the rocks and coral are placed very securely as they are very strong and push rocks and corals out of the reef.

I forgot to mention there is 1 blue T8 so in winter the day is prolonged so I can feed the fish and look at the tank.

The window is 10 m long and 2.2 m high with and the roof is opaque PVC plate.
This is on the south/east side of the house.
The tanks is exposed to direct sunlight from dusk till 15.00 (this varies during the year off course)

These have been set-up for 2 years.
But I' ve had my tanks under direct sunlight for over 6-7 years.

BTW it is very difficult to take pictures of these systems due to reflections, but that is probably due to my underdevelloped pic taking skills.

this is how it looked like outside when taking these pics.
You can see the growth when comparing to the first pic.

nice....do you have algae problems? my tank gets more algae on the side it where it got extra sunlight from the window nearby.

No algae problem, algae come from nutrient problems.
I can assure you this is not 'pristine' water I feed the fish 3-8 times per day.
If I wouldn' t have the foxface and the pair of tomini tags there would be algae present.

Nice. That room looks like either a greenhouse or solarium. Lots of plants in the background.

Wish I could do that where I'm at. NE Ohio is known as the area with the least number of sunlight days in the whole U.S. I see you are in Belgium.
