Maxima. Not to be rude, but since you didn't know what it is, have you researched the care requirements of maxima clams? THey can be tricky!

what kind of care requirements do maxima clams need? i have 2 other blue teardrop about 12" and 8" that's being in my tank for about 15 month so far.

Do you have a pic of your blue teardrops? I've been looking for true blue teardrops. A lot of the "blue" teardrops people sell are really just green teardrops under alot of actinics. If yours are true ones please post pic I would love to see them. I got a 10 inch green teardrop with peach base. Love it!
