My new 90gallon tank!

It is a 90 gal w/: sump, HOB refugium, it is plumbed and reef ready, 100 lbs of LR, (I have to buy sand), a UV sterilizer (I think), a DI system (I think), metal halide fixture, stand, chemicals, and a ton of other equipment I can't make out. Half the stuff I can't identify or have no idea how to work it. But it was the deal of the century. I got it from my daughters boyfriends uncle who's wife had left him and it was hers. I paid only $75. I almost cried when I saw all the stuff it came with. I am now parting with my 12 gallon Aquapod (Mel has dibbs on), and 29gal tank. I simply do not have the room. The 29 has a nova extreme light fixture, a small protein skimmer, and a HOB filter. I might have some LR left over from all this mess. I would be interested in trading the tank for corals, sand, or a RO unit. PM me if you are interested

I will post pics when we get it up an going.

I'm sorry I missed your call. We were all out to eat. We were at a place with karaoke....we were trying to get my daughter to get up there and sing. She does for Rock Band 2. But she was too shy.....she didn't do it. LOL

Anyway......yes, I want the tank. (Can you believe the guys in the office all agreed that the tank should go in the bathroom. That's soooooo not going to happen. LMAO!!)

We gotta get together so I can trade you cash (or check, your choice) for tank. :)

You got my number.....and I text you back.....but it was a lil after 8......dunno if that was too late for you, I usually stay up pretty late. But gimme a holler again......I think I gave you my cell......and I think I'm taking the day off tomorrow, so you can call my cell anytime.

Here are some updated pics. I hope to get it inside tonite. I cleaned everything really good with vinegar and I painted the back. Tonite it will get some base rock and sand. I hope tomorrow we can start filling it up. I hope I can figure out the plumbing and get it flowing. If anyone is not busy tomorrow please feel free to stop by. 813-802-0478

wheres that light coming from?

nice tank, by the way is that sunshine in the background, my dad told me it was sunny in england once;)

Thanks Michael,
I hope to get some rock and water in it tonite. My husband is going to kill me before this is over.
The sun is usually shinning here in Florida, that is why it's called the "sunshine state". Lol...

Awsome! I am not sure how everything works. I got it over 1/3 full of water already. I will get more in the morning. You will have to excuse my house. There is aquarium stuff everywhere. You won't believe the stuff that came with this tank. I am sure you won't go home empty handed. Lol...

There is a D/I unit in this stuff. I wish I had a R/O unit. I also got 2 UV sterlizers and some canister filters and a bunch of chemicals.
Maybe I should as Santa to bring me a R/O unit. I may be pushing it with the new tank and light fixture. Lol....
I HAVE been really good.

Well,
My back will never be the same again. My husband was home last night to help lift 5 5gallon jugs. Today I had to do like 10 by myself! I got the sump going! Yeah! But it is leaking a little underneath at the return conector thingy underneath (of course!). I might only have to tighten it a little. At least it is in the overflow and I shouldn't have to drain all the water out if it needs replacing. And also it loops down and drains right back into the sump. Score!
I really did a great job if I say so myself on rinsing the sand. It is not as cloudy as I thought. I got most of the rock in there as well. You guys know I am not done with the aquascaping. I will change it several times before it is done cycling. I suck at aquascaping. Anywho... here is the first pic of it full.
