Here's a couple pics of my little one. Been in for about 5 days and doing great so far. Just a hare under 2" and has planted itself firmly on that rock. This was under 10K - I'm under 15K now and like the color much more.

This is from the front:

This is from the top. Amazing how much the color changes!

Very nice clam! Wish I could find one like that around here. None of my LFS want to bring in blue Maximas. They all say that they cost too much and are to hard to sell.

This little one was a LiveAquaria.com purchase. Worked out great.

Today I came home and it's facing a different direction. In fact it's now facing directly toward the brand new light I just installed. I think it likes it! :) Do they normally turn and move around like that?

Clam is doing great!

Seems to have settled in and become quite comfortable with the tank. Growth is slower than I would like but it's coming along.

Yeah I actually picked up that 3 for 90 ORA maxima pack they had. You get one of the Ultra Grades (looks alot like yours), a 1st Grade which is more the non-glowing sea blue, and a gold (brown/gold squamo lookish). They are adorable.

My LFS gets in baby ORA maxies every so often...about $25...I could drive an hour to another LFS and take my pick of about 20 of them at any one time, but for $45.

Very Nice clam () : )
..I wish ORA could put out more of the zebra ones () : (
