description is "hardy." The zooids (blooms) fell off day 2 and have grown back fully 3 days later.

I read about this a year or so ago, here on RC. From what I read they will drop the heads, and reform them, and slowly waste away. I don't think I've found anyone who had one survive. Keep us updated!
( note: what I found was called a blue palm coral, from a google search I think it's the same thing.)

Not sure how research youve done on your tunicate. I dug up a some what recent thread which seems to contain some good info, and the thread starter is still active here so perhaps you could shoot them a PM, see if theirs is still alive and if so how they've kept it.
