My new favorite coral

One of my favorites as well, i'd like to have one again but haven't found him local yet. mine grew about 15 heads in one year.

duncs are one of my favorites too! just wait till it gets big.....i have 3 colonies right now....and i really only need\want 1

The thing is there are different morphs I have one that's green branches and center and purple/gray tentacles, one that's green branches and centers and pink tentacles, and the last (my favorite) doesn't branch, it encrusts and stays low and the flesh is entirely pink except for the tips of the tentacles, which are neon green. I've never seen that kind anywhere else or in photos, but it's definitely a duncan. Grows like crazy, too. I'll see if I can find a pic.

This is about the best I could find. It's to the right of a "normal" branching duncan. It came from a colony at my LFS and they have to frag it fairly often. There are no branches at all, the heads have no structure and are soft tissue all the way down to the encrusting base.

I love ours. Went from 3 heads to 5 in a month! Green trunk and blue heads for ours.
