this is my second panda goby. i put the first one in the tank and never saw him again he was very small (so is my new one) he could still be alive but i doubt it because i havent seen him since the first day i put him in ( abotu a month ago) i recently bought a new on.. i thought it would be a good idea to put him in my hang on fuge to find some smaller food to eat and no other fish to stress him out.. if anyone has any better idea please let me know.. here is some pics of where and what he is in. i thought id leave him in their till he gets a little bigger.. also if this is a bad idea let me know..and its a 20 gal reef

He wont last in there. The Panda Clown Goby is usually found among the branches of pocillopora coral colonies. Its where they are comfortable.

Yes, it's true they do better in their natural habitat, I don't think that's the main cause. The hardest part is getting them to eat and no predators since they are so tiny. Putting the lil' guy in the fuge isn't a bad idea. Just make sure he eats. Btw, from your pics, looks like he can escape into the main area even through the egg crate. Either way good luck!
